Care & Connects is an innovative NDIS provider that is dedicated to delivering the best quality support to each of our participants.  To assist with this, we have a dedicated Psychosocial Disability program led by experienced Mental Health professionals, delivering Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Participation (CP) supports across the Adelaide region.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor with a strong understanding of all HR processes, as well as the employment law and regulations.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • WWC & NDIS Worker Screening
  • AU Driver’s Licence
  • Police Check
  • 100 Points ID

 

Selection Criteria

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Human Resources Advisor, preferred in the same industry.
  • Knowledge of the SCHADS Award.
  • Solid understanding of Australian employment law and regulations (Fair Work Act and relevant legislation).

 

Your tasks may include but not be limited to the following:

  • Adopting an advisory approach, provide HR strategic, and operational support to manager and staff across the employment life cycle. 
  • Coordinating the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. 
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Addressing employee concerns or grievances in a timely manner.
  • Conducting investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations.
  • Conducting design, development and implementation of HR initiatives related to change management and organisational culture. 
  • Identifying training needs and coordinating employee development programs.
  • Leading the performance appraisal processes and providing support to managers on performance management strategies.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Providing advice to the management team on HR-related legal issues and risks.
