 About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality, Compliance & Safeguarding Officer to ensure compliance across our SIL homes and office. This role is responsible for maintaining NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct compliance, and relevant WHS legislation.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review and maintain company policies, procedures, and forms in line with NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Conduct internal audits across SIL homes, participants documentation, and service delivery
  • Ensure readiness for NDIS Audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective and improvement actions
  • Manage risk registers and conduct regular risk assessments
  • Monitor high-risk areas including medication management, restrictive practices, safeguarding, and WHS
  • Manage incident review, investigation, and reportable incident submission to the NDIS Commission
  • Conduct workplace inspection and maintain the WHS system and registers 
  • Maintain audit schedules, compliance calendars, and action plans.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in disability services in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience working with NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators, and audit processes
  • Proven experience managing incidents, complaints, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of WHS systems, risk management, and relevant legislation.
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Community Services, Business Management, or a related field. 
  • Current NDIS Check, WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and Driver’s Licence
